Pay Cat sells an ultra-niche service and heavily relied on referral leads to generate revenue as a reseller of cloud payroll services. They were looking to diversify and generate a predictable pipeline of leads.Â
the insights
We heavily researched and identified that Australian employment law and payroll requirements are heavily regulated. Small to medium businesses particularly struggled with interpreting modern awards and had very limited resources to help them stay compliant. We developed a content strategy focused on targeting search traffic on Google related to these modern awards to grow traffic, brand awareness and ultimately generated a multi-million dollar pipeline of leads that is still growing.
